This app is awesome ! Great motivator an it actually helped me achieve 20 pull ups. Bad reviews to me sound like they didnt want to put in the time and effort. And to add I got my 20 with the lite app
The exercise plan could be a little slower to get you to the top. Its not user friendly when you want to look at your previous exercises. Its only a hard to read bar graph that only shows the overall total... Not the reps. Boo!
I could only do 2 pull-ups before. Using it 2 weeks and I can do 12
I feel like breaking my personal record every time I work out turning this app on .
Amazing app. And its other apps(sit up/ push-ups) it reminds you every two days to do your workout so you never forget.
Some bad moments
Does not properly count when phone just in pocket and exercise done according to best practice technique.
Does not show current month stats when they are opened.
Does not let to manually input info, I understand that there are cheaters but only outcome for me is statistics and anyway cheaters can just wave the hand if want to. Their situps are the same garbage. I regret spending money on it and want them back. If your company has QA engineers - they should be fired. Iphone 6, latest stable ios and your app.
This app isnt working for me. Please download and thoroughly test the free versions of these apps BEFORE giving Runtastic your money.
I had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago, and pull-ups scare the crap out of me. I can barely do 2 complete pull-ups.
I bought the entire Runtastic bodyweight fitness pack without trying it out, because it came highly recommended online.
I tried two of the apps; Sit-ups and Pull-ups. The Sit-up app works great. This Pull-up app isnt working at all!
I wore my iPhone as the app instructed, no reps were shown. It was as though nothing happened.
So I stopped and started 4 times and not a single pull-up was recorded.
And this app doesnt even give me the ability to manually input my exercises. I have tried to use it every day just to see if I might have done something wrong before. Nothing changed at all.
The Runtastic support pages are of no help and no one has answered my email.
Ill be requesting a refund from Apple if I dont hear from Runtastic by the 27th.
App constantly nags to rate us 5 stars and gives pop up adds for other apps by the company you already own. No way to turn either of these off, even with the paid version.
I would like this app if I had the option to manually put in how many pullups I did without having the phone on me. The way it is now, with the gyroscope or whatever it is called, it says I do more pullups than I dis.
Followed instructions; doesnt count pull-ups; hence, a pointless app. I did about 7, trying different pockets and whatnot; only registered 1. Tried hanging from neck too. Tried reinstalling, etc.
Bad accelerometer sensitivity leads to complete defective counter, therefore tens the app useless.
